Summaries Of Famous Films For Your Delight

By Len Lowe

If you want to watch a movie on your game console the process is very simple. Take your time and choose your favorite movie and enjoy. The movie choices on the Internet is remarkable. To me, the most excellent approach is to download the films from the Internet first to the computer and then copy and paste from the computer to the newly produced drive for the PSP device. Choose a movie from below, download and watch it now.

The Choirboys - Purportedly joke adventures of LA. Cops who lessen work pressures by bawdy doings. This is a Foul-mouthed, foul-minded, heavy handed film from story by Joseph Wambaugh, who disavowed this dud. Cast includes Charles Durning, Louis Gossett, Jr., Perry Baron, Clyde Kusatsu, Stephen Macht, Tim McIntire, Randy Quaid, Don Stroud, and James Woods. (119 minutes,'77)

Slaughter's Big Ripoff - A murderer is still playing games with the Mob in this dull action film. McMahon gives more effort to his role as the mafia boss than it is worth. Cast includes Jim Brown, Ed McMahon, Brock Peters, Don Stroud, Gloria Hendry, Dick Anthony Williams, and Art Metrano. (93 minutes,'73)

Holiday - First interpretation of Philip Barry's play in reference to non-conformity is a enjoyable film. Johnny Case finds himself married to a millionaire's daughter and he must come to a decision between a vocation in big business or living life as a holiday.'38 version includes Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant among others. (95 minutes,'38)

The Prince and the Showgirl - Relatively decent but slow moving comedy of saucy American show gal Monroe being courted by Prince Regent of Carpathia (Olivier) throughout the'11 coronation of George V. Filmed in England, with marvelous performances by Monroe and Olivier. Cast includes Marilyn Monroe, Laurence Olivier, Sybil Thorndike, Jeremy Spencer, and Richard Wattis. (117 minutes,'57)

Mysterious Lady - An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, clueless that she's a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes,'28)

Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Small town band hits it huge, in an effort to connect songs from The Beatles' memorable album into some kind of a storyline. As to The Bee Gees performing skill, well let's just proclaim that they are not the Beatles. Cast includes Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees, George Bums, Sandy Farina, and Steve Martin. (111 minutes,'78)

Season of Passion - Classy research of human being relationships; MIlls and Borgnine are country workers who each year make a trip to the city for their fling with Baxter and Lansbury. Cast includes Anne Baxter, John MiIls, Angela Lansbury, Ernest Borgnine, and Janette Craig. (93 minutes,'59)

I prefer to save movies to the computer initially and then relocate them to the game console. This way I have my music in both places and I have a back up on the computer in case an error occurs when transferring the files to the game console. For downloading movies from the Internet, pick your movie choices and save the movie to a dedicated folder on the computer. Then copy those files from the computer to the newly created drive for the game console. In order to transfer movies from a DVD to the game console a DVD ripper is needed. - 18762

The Beatles in Stereo Box Set

By David Quincy Jackson

The Beatles Stereo Remastered CD Set was made available on 9/9/9 it instantly became the ultimate standard for The Beatles classic albums.

These remastered stereo mixes sound far superior to the old discs from the 80s. When one compares the remastered CDs to the old CDs it's like the older discs are under a pile of old blankets while the new remastered CDs sound warm and clear so that all of the vocals, guitar parts, bass guitar parts, and drums punch through the mix instead of being muffled.

The Beatles Stereo Remastered CD Set isn't the only box set by The Beatles released in '09 but it is the most popular since it appeals to the widest range of fans. The Remastered Beatles in Mono Box Set is excellent too but it appeals mostly to purists who need to listen to the original mono mixes (because that's how most fans in the'60s heard this music) than to an classic rock fan. Although there are definitely songs that sound better in mono than in stereo (particularly some of the pre Magical Mystery Tour recordings) all things considered I believe the stereo CD box set does sound most fab.

The fab thing about The Beatles Stereo Remastered CD Set is that it allows you to acquire The Beatles complete 1962-70 discography with just one purchase and when one considers the high quality of nearly all of their CDs, it makes the most sense to buy them all at once instead of just picking up some and going back for the rest later.

Beyond the fantastic ground breaking music included in this box set there are also some groovy visual parts, most obviously the DVD with- mini documentaries on it (one for each studio album.) Along with the mini documentary DVD there are extended liner notes for each CD (there is some excellent stuff in there, particularly for fans that are new to The Beatles) and some great unpublished photos.

I'm such a huge Beatles fanatic that I have got (or I plan on purchasing) The Beatles Stereo Box, The Beatles in Mono Box, The Beatles USB Stick, and The Beatles Rock Band Game. But if I had to pick only one of these things, it would be the comprehensive stereo box set because it's the best hear their legendary albums and after all, it's their groundbreaking music that matters most. - 18762

Evaluation And Observations On Some First-Rate Films

By Hillary Moon

The process of downloading movies for entertainment through your gaming console is very easy. Peruse the web and find your movie and start watching your show through your PSP device now. Downloading movies from the Internet is rather simple and readily available. Choose a movie from below and download it now.

Season of Passion - Classy research of human being associations; MIlls and Borgnine are country workers who each year take a trip to the city for their affair with Baxter and Lansbury. Cast includes Anne Baxter, John MiIls, Angela Lansbury, Ernest Borgnine, and Janette Craig. (93 minutes,'59)

Aladdin - Disney's animated Arabian Days storyline is refined through the sensibility of an old Warner Bros. animation, as Aladdin summons up a Genie who's overflowing with chatter. Williams' comedic fast fire shtick forms the centerpiece of this alternatively conventional tale, colorfully (and tunefully) shown. Cast includes Voices of Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried, Douglas Seale and the harmonizing voices of Brad Kand and Lea Salonga. (90 minutes,'92)

The Sinister Urge - Dedicated cops Duncan and Moore set out to bash the "smut film racket," which is run by a vulgar blonde. Illustrates with complete confidence how photos of plump ladies clothed in merely their underwear can be a major cause of adolescent wrongdoing. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson. (75 minutes,'60)

Mysterious Lady - An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, naive that she's a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes,'28)

In Enemy Country - Indifferent WW2 story, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not very persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer

Slaughter's Big Ripoff - A assassin is still playing games with the Mafia in this dull action film. McMahon gives more effort to his role as the mafia boss than it merits. Cast includes Jim Brown, Ed McMahon, Brock Peters, Don Stroud, Gloria Hendry, Dick Anthony Williams, and Art Metrano. (93 minutes,'73)
