Singing Karaoke for Fun

Karaoke is usually pronounced 'care-E-O-key' . The word karaoke came from two Japanese words "kara" comes from "karappo" meaning empty, and "oke" is the abbreviation of "okesutura," or orchestra. So, karaoke is derived from these two Japanese words and means "empty orchestra." Karaoke is commonly misspelled as 'kareoke', 'karioke', and 'karoke',

Internationally, karaoke is a popular form of entertainment in which amateurs sing along to recorded instrumental versions of popular songs. This incredible popular entertainment originated about 30 years ago in the city of Kobe, one of the three biggest cities in Kansai, Japan. Karaoke machines were initially placed in restaurants and hotel lounges; soon, new businesses called karaoke boxes, with compartmented rooms, became popular.

Since its invention almost 30 years ago,karaoke has been fun to sing and watch. Karaoke is firmly established in Japanese society and has become the entertainment of choice at parties and corporate functions. Karaoke is not only fun, it's easy on the wallet. Singing karaoke is fun, and while you see some very good singers singing karaoke, the is no requirement that you be a good singer to participate.
