The Amazing Feeling Of Watching Your Favorite Musicians In Live Concert

By Ian Sawyer

When you are a fan of The Jonas Brothers, Metallica, or Eminem, chances are youve seen your favorite artist in a live concert setting. Nothing quite beats the electricity and tension of a great concert.

New songs are paired with old favorites, up-tempo rockers follow gorgeous ballads, and every number gets a new, live treatment that captures the studio version perfectly while revealing fresh nuances added for the fans. Stage design, lighting, and crisp, bass-heavy sound are also highlights of live shows.

A while before a concert starts, fans pile into the parking lot of an arena or stadium to party and revel with other like-minded followers of the band or musician. Pre-show tailgating can, for some, be a critical element of the holistic concert experience. Whether cooking food on a portable grill, enjoying ice-cold beer on a hot summer day, or walking around meeting new friends, fans love to hang out in the parking lot before a show.

The Music buzz builds as music cranks from cars and throngs of fans begin to stream towards the ticket gates and into the venue. This ritual culminates as fans find their seat and take in the grandeur of the stage, the sweeping scope of the growing audience, and the gleaming brilliance of the bands equipment and speaker setup.

Then the houselights dim and the spotlights set a colorful mood as smoke crawls over the stage. The roar of the crowd can be deafening as the band emerges and entices the audience with the first songs opening riffs. From then on, its magic and mayhem.

Most concerts are part of lengthy tours that support a new album. Other concerts fall under the category of festival, wherein many bands and individual musicians come together to support a genre or common theme.

Without a doubt, fans flock to various venues hoping to soak up the atmosphere of celebrity and intimacy that tends to blend during a performance by their favorite artist. Even in huge stadiums, bands can promote intimacy by incorporating an interactive stage design where some lucky fans are literally at the feet of the performer(s).

Some can admire from afar by watching huge video screens that capture the performers every move. If youre lucky enough to catch your favorite artist in a club or small theater, then you know the power of a truly intimate show.

Seeing the actual sweat glisten on a singers brow, feeling the damp heat of the swaying crowd, and sensing the overpowering crush of the guitar amps and bass drum can actually become addictive. - 18762

Live band bookings C

By Roc Selly

Live band bookings are becoming an increasingly popular choice of entertainment at personal parties and corporate events. The bands are live and the audience are usually captivated. Live band bookings are one way to ensure that your event will be one to remember and will hopefully get a few people bopping on the dance floor.

Live band bookings allow you to put money back into your local music industry, giving your local bands the exposure that they deserve.

When you book a live band, always be sure to source premier booking agents so that you can relax knowing that your band is being effectively supervised. Besides being quite costly, live bands can be somewhat demanding so a live band booking needs good management to ensure that your live band is on time and given the attention they are accustomed to. Live band booking management should also oversee the payments and deal with other related issues.

If you are planning on booking a live band, start by deciding what type of music and from which decade would best suit your event. Tribute and cover bands will perform a wide variety of the music of yesteryear and with golden oldies cranking out at your party, everyone's bound to have a sing and dance. If you're after a current live band playing the charts, be prepared to pay that bit extra and look forward to wowing your guests with concert-like effects. Or you could opt for an iconic live band which is a great choice for nostalgic homegrown music.

Live band bookings are easy to do. You need to source a premier booking agent and usually doing this by internet is more than adequate. Your other option is to try sourcing the group themselves to gain information as to which company manages them. They will more than likely pass you on to their booking agent to avoid the hassle of dealing directly with a client as their management will be used to dealing with them and will use the advantage of this relationship to better organize your event.

Corporations often have easier access to the funds necessary to hook up a live band for an event but if you're fortunate enough to have the budget for a live band booking at your personal event, jump at the opportunity.

A live band booking brings with it that x-factor that turns any occasion into an awesome night out. - 18762
