Mp3 players allow the user to pick their own selection of songs to play without having to buy the entire album. Songs for mp3 players can be found in a variety of places, from ripping cds using software, downloading from various sites or even recording straight from cds or radio stations without the need of a computer. Some mp3 players also feature voice recording, which is also a source of audio.

Today, buying accessories for MP3 players has become as vital as which among the MP3 player breed to choose. Items that allow more portability or convenient carrying are being sold as well as additional batteries for a longer playing time. Portable stereo systems are also available.

Learn Guitar - Here's a Great Little Guitar Lesson - A Nice Guitar Chord Change That Crops Up in Many Songs!

This week's tip is a nice little chord change that crops up in many songs and is really effective but it does assume you have some understanding of playing the guitar. If not don't worry as my full course (due to be released shortly) covers every aspect from an absolute beginner through to monster guitar players.

Over the coming weeks you'll be building up an archive of tips and tricks you will be able to use as a reference once you are at a level to be able to play the phrases.

Ok, let's have a look...

Playing an 'A major' chord in the open position using your 1st,2nd and 3rd finger play one bar all downstrokes and on the beat.

Now lift your 3rd finger to reveal the open B string. We call this chord an Asus2 chord. Play one bar.

Then using your 4th finger hold down the 'B string' at the 3rd fret (1st and 2nd finger remain unchanged at the second fret throughout this piece) and play one bar (this chord is called Asus4).

To finish off we play one bar of A major to complete this sequence.

I would like to give you another tips before I sign off this week...

In this next tip we are going to get really cool sounding chords easily using the open strings within the chords.

Ok, if you're ready we'll get going... Start off by playing an A major chord (A) with a slight difference. Your fingerings are: 4th string 7th fret with your 3rd finger, 3rd string 6th fret 2nd finger and 2nd string 5th fret with your 1st finger. The 1st string is played open. This chord is called an A major chord. Now strum one bar.

Move this shape down two frets keeping the 1st string open and play a bar (G6)...

Next play a Dsus2 chord. The fingerings are as follows: Play the 4th string open, the 3rd string on the 2nd fret with the 1st finger and the 2nd string 3rd fret 3rd finger keeping the 1st string open and play one bar.

And finally play an (A) major chord in the open position that is..5th string open - 4th,3rd and 2nd string are played at the second fret with fingers 1,2,3 and the 1st string is ...you guessed it open.

Simply play one or two bars of each chord over and over for an amazing chord progression. It sounds superb on its own and also great to solo over and fantastic for writing your own songs.
