Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Here is a romantic comedy set in a beautiful islands in Hawaii. After being dumped by his girlfriend Sarah, he finally decides to go to Hawaii to get over the loss. Unfortunately, when he goes to check in at the resort, the first person he sees is Sarah, and of course her new boyfriend.

Straight Time - Hoffman knocks heads with greasy parole officer Walsh following his release from prison and begins a downward skid. An immersing if not particularly differentiated melodrama that gets a true shot in the arm from great acting by the supporting cast. Cast includes Dustin Hoffman, Theresa Russell, Harry Dean Stanton, Gary Busey, Emmet Walsh, and Rita Taggart. 114 minutes, 1978.

House on Haunted Hill - Zillionaire Price offers group of folks $100,000 each if they'll endure a night in a spooky old mansion with a haunted history. Cast includes Vincent Price, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Alan Marshal, Elisha Cook, Carolyn Craig, and Leona Anderson. 75 minutes, 1958.

Thunderheart - There have been a number of killings on the Sioux Indian Reservation. The FBI goes in to handle the situation. One agent, Ray Levoi, has Sioux blood. As he investigates the case he soon finds out there is much more going on than some random killings.

Uncle Buck - Cindy Russell must visit her ill father. Her single alternative for someone to take care of her children is good old Uncle Buck. Irresponsible Buck has to by some means pull himself together and take care of the youngsters for a few days.

House Springs - Having just been abandoned by his fiance Driver, British actor Firth heads to the United States and falls for Graham. Then, wouldn't you know it, Minnie shows up. There are great acting jobs from everybody, although not enough laughs for a romantic comedy. The film is based on the book New Cardiff by Charles Webb. Cast includes Colin Firth, Heather Graham, Minnie Driver, Mary Steenburgen, Oliver Platt, and. 92 minutes, 2003.

The Ploughman's Lunch - Complicated, skeptical denunciation of British behaviors, ethics and affairs of state, focusing on the exercises of totally self-centered journalist (Pryce) and others throughout the Falklands battle. The motion picture is somewhat perceptive, within the restraints of its outlook. Cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Tim Curry, Rosemary Harris, Blunt Finlay, and Charlie Dore. 100 minutes, 1983.

Clue - Silly and insipid thriller based on the fashionable board game of the same name with all the familiar characters Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, Miss Red, et al. gathered for a murderous day in a Victorian mansion. Everyone tries tremendously hard but there is nothing they can do to save this weak film. Cast includes Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Ponder, and Howard Hesseman. 87 minutes, 1985.
