De-Lovely: Handsome however strange biopic of the incredible songwriter Cole Porter, whose love for his spouse didn't preclude him from chasing homosexual affairs. Kline is much more interesting than the film as the scene in which he instructs Barrowman how to harmonize "Night and Day" shows. Bulletproof Heart: Fortunate hit guy LaPaglia gets a job he's not really cut out for. He is hired to take out an attractive woman who is in debt with the mob. 4 well-conditioned, well-played characters including Boyle's gloomy mobster and Craven's dimwit companion-don't count quite make this a hit. Cast includes Anthony LaPaglia, Mimi Rogers, Peter Boyle, Matt Craven, and Joseph Maher. (100 minutes, 1994)

Believe in me: Yet another 1970s film that all about drug problems. Working gal Bisset finds that she has become completely dependent on speed while living in the East Village section of New York City. Cast includes Michael Sarrazin, Jacqueline Bisset, Jon Cypher, Allen Garfield, and Kurt Dodenhoff. (90 minutes, 1971)

The Sellout: A small town newspaper editor (Pidgeon) finds himself in over his head while he tries to get the goods on corrupt sheriff Gomez. Cast includes Walter Pidgeon, John Hodiak, Audry Totter, Paula Raymond, Cameron Mitchell, Karl Malden, Everett Sloane, and Thomas Gomez. (83 minutes, 1952)

Belles on Their Toes: A widowed architect (Loy) will battle to aid (in addition to raise) her aging brood. 20th Century Fox back lot seen at its best in recollecting early 1900s America. Clifton Webb makes a concise appearance at the finale. Cast includes Myrna Loy, Jeanne Crain, Debra Paget, Jeffrey Hunter, Edward Arnold, Hoagy Carmichael, Barbara Bates, Robert Arthur, Verna Felton, and Martin Milner. (89 minutes, 1952)

Thieves: A hard postwar drama about a returning vet looking for revenge from his trucker dad's punishment at the hands of a crooked fruit trader in San Francisco. Cast includes Richard Conte, Valentina Cortese, Lee J. Cobb, Barbara Lawrence, Jack Oakie, Millard Mitchell, and Joseph Pevney. (94 minutes, 1996)
