A Few First-Rate Cinematic Film Plot Summaries

By Arlene Maddox

We have reviews of some movies listed below. Here are some ways to find movie download sites. "Download Movies Internet" or "DVD Movies Downloads" might get you a good result, if they don't, try "New Movie Download".

Alice Sugary Alice: For profit spacecraft unwittingly takes on an extraterrestrial being that wreaks ruthless chaos on the team. Spaceage terror film reverts to 1950's style, although unfolds at a determinate pace, populates the tale with fascinating, vibrant characters, and plants its good scenes with outstanding ability. Cast includes Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, John Hurt, Ian Holm, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto, and Veronica Cartwright. (117 minutes, 1979)

Tracks: Hopper chaperones lifeless Vietnam friend across the nation by train, but eventuafiy goes bonkers. Cast includes Dennis Hopper, Taryn Power, Dean Stockwell, Topa Swope, Michael Emil, and Zack Norman. (90 minutes, 1976)

The Good the Bad and the Ugly: The third and the best of Leone's man with no name trilogy, set throughout Civil War. 3 very different people look for a Confederate government treasure chest, each knows only a piece to the puzzle of the location of this treasure. This film must be considered one of the true western classics. Cast includes Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach, Rada Rassimov, Mario Brega, and Chelo Alonso. (1061 minutes, 1966)

Food of the Gods: This is a terrible adaptation of H. G. Wells' novel. An odd event has caused mammoth expansion in the size of wasps, chickens and rats. Cast includes Marjoe Gortner, Pamela Franklin, Ida Lupino, Jon Cypher, and Ralph Meeker. (88 minutes, 1976)

The Clubland: Youthful gentleman and his buddies set out to make it in the music industry by operating at a hip club on L.A.'s Sunset Strip, however they have to handle sleazy publicists and identity complications within the band. Modern-day music and trappings might camouflage, or defeat, a soggy tale that may have been made as a 1930s B film. Cast includes Jimmy Tuckett, Lori Trivial, Brad Seek, Heather Stephens, Rodney Eastman, Friend Quaid, Terence Trent D' Arby, Alexis Arquette, and Steven Tyler. (94 minutes, 1999)

Jurassic Park III: Amusing popcorn film that takes a recipe and plays it for all it's worth as professor-paleontologist Neill is convinced to lead an expedition to the prohibited island where dinosaurs wander, however obviously he hasn't been informed of the realities. The movie is full of scares, and lots of fun proving that a thriller kind doesn't have to be dumb. Cast includes Sam Neill, William H. Macy, Tea Leoni, Alessandro Nivola, Trevor Morgan, Michael Jeter, John Diehl, and Bruce A. Young. (93 minutes, 2001)

The Age of Innocence: Humble although powerful rendition of Edith Wharton's novel in reference to an obstructed romance between an involved lawyer and a divorcee, in 1870s Manhattan. Starts off with a super Jazz Age montage opening, then gets slowed down in static, stagy therapy as older Boles interconnects the tale of his ill-fated event to his grandson. Cast includes Irene Dunne, John Boles, Lionel Atwill, Helen Westley, Laura Wish Teams, and Julie Haydon. (81 minutes, 1934)

Borderline: Bronson, minus Jill Ireland this time, is a border patrol officer looking for a murderer. Cast includes Charles Bronson, Bruno Kirby, Bert Remsen, Michael Lerner, Kenneth McMillan, Ed Harris, and Wilford Brimley. (105 minutes, 1980)

The Thief of Bagdad: Extraordinary fantasy of local boy Sabu out doing the sinister sorcerer Veidt in Arabian Days. The thief of Bagdad is a myth with remarkable resiliency. Cast includes Ludwig Berger, Tim Whelan, Michael Powell, Sabu, John Justin, Conrad Veidt, Rex Ingram, and Mary Morris. (106 minutes, 1940)

I hope you enjoyed the reviews. You should make some queries with search terms like "Movie Download Software" or "Online DVD" to find more info on downloading movies. A final search with "DVD Rentals" might get you what you need if the other ones fail. - 18762
