Until recently, if you wanted to watch a movie, a trip to a video store like blockbuster was your only option. Drop Zone: Peter Nessip, and his brother Terry are US Marshall's escorting criminal Earl Leedy to a high security prison. A daring rescue has the resuers blow a hole in the plane and parachute to freedom, taking Leedy with them. Terry is suck out the hole in the plane also, but plummets to his death. Peter is now after Leedy and his gang, and must enter the world of dare devil skydiving to catch them.
You, Me And Dupre: Just settling into their new marriage Carl and Molly run into a problem. Dupre, best man at their wedding, is down on his luck and needs a place to stay.
Cul-De-Sac: Macabre comedy in regards to 2 injured gangsters who terrorize middle-aged milquetoast and his gorgeous youthful spouse. Not a total prosperity, although excellent cast and trendy direction make it a victor. Cast includes Donald Pleasence, Francoise Dode, Lionel Stander, Jack MacGowrah, lain Quarrier, and Jacqueline Bisset. (111 minutes, 1966)
Sine: The moving, true story, of Australian pianist David Helfgott. A child prodigy on the piano, he grows up in an abusive situation. Finally breaking away from his father he travels over seas to study. Eventually, he suffers a total breakdown. He returns to Australia, winding up in a mental institution. Somehow, many years later he is released from the institution. In final completion, he makes his way all the way back to playing in the concert halls.
Night of the Comet: Planet comes to an end, leaving only a few California valley gals behind! Clever satire, with brainy and sporadically chilling minutes, however plays all its cards too eventually. Cast includes Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney, Robert Beltran, Geoffrey Lewis, Mary Woronov, Sharon Farrell, and Michael Bowen. (94 minutes, 1984)
