Lately, the majority of people rent movies on a regular basis. Often we will wait for the DVD rentals to hit the stores, in lieu of going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD's in Oct. 2008.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: The Indiana Jones movies are back, after a few years off. This is the fourth movie in the Indiana Jones movies. In this episode an older Indiana takes on the Russians. Now, the chase is on for ancient relics called the Crystal Skulls, and the powers they might possess.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: One time crook Ben Garvey has turned the corner. With a loving wife and child, and a job that pays the bills, he can't complain. Then, he is fired from work, and he finds himself heading back into the criminal world. His criminal rebirth is a complete bust, and he winds up on death row. He fully expects to be killed by lethal injection. To his surprise, he isn't dead, but is in a psych ward. Now its all on the line, his sanity, and his spritual well being.

LINEWATCH: Well likes Michael Dixon is a boarder man in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Now, things in his past are about to catch up with him. He was part of a violent Los Angeles gang, before final breaking away. When simple bad luck gives away his location to a member of his old gang, he and his family are put in a dangerous situation. He has no choice but to take a chance, and make sure that gang leader drake is able to safely get a large supply of drugs into the U.S.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This film tells us the tale of Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), who has become the Incredible Hulk because of being hit by gamma rays. This film is an epic tale of the comic character the Hulk. Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, all have roles in this film. The director is Louis Leterrier. The film style is sci-fi/action-thriller.

DECEPTION: Audiitor for the elite, Jonathan McQuarry has an unusual meeting with corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. This is a meeting that changes his life forever. He is introduced to "The List", where people find a decadent sexual extasy. Sadly, he is also led into a treacherous game of back stabbing and murder.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his brother, a science professor explores caves in Iceland that sends him into the depths of our planet. This is a new version of the 1959 film, which was about the classic novel by renowned author Jules Verne. This sci-fi adventure stars Brendan Fraser, and Anita Briem.

THE HAPPENING: Science teacher Elliot Moore, along with his wife and some friends are escaping Philadelphia by train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by an unusual force, and are dying at their own hands. Will mankind find the solution, or are we witnessing the final acts of man on this planet?

IRON MAN: Playboy, engineer genius, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. He is instructed to create weapon systems for the insurgent group. He was wounded while he was being captured, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To live through this life threatening wound, and make his get away, he creates a suit made of armor, that makes him super strong. We now have another super hero, Iron Man.

SPEED RACER: An anime-cartoon with a new twist. Following an example like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer chages a cartoon to a movie with an actual cast. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a huge racing event that his older brother had died racing in. With odds against him, and risking it all, Speed Racer teams with his former adversary Racer X, to try to win The Crucible, and keep his families racing business alive. - 18762
