To learn the piano, you must want to learn
It annoys me to know and when people just do things for the sake of doing them. I'm not talking about chores or the responsibilities of life. I mean find something you're passionate about and do that thing.
If you don't want to learn how to play the piano or it's something you just don't like going why continue to do it? On that same note, if you want to learn how to play the in you're not going are right now why not start? Do that thing that's going to make you happy and do it to your best ability.
Don't make excuses. Don't keep telling yourself why you don't have time to learn the piano. Excuses get you nowhere fast. Don't say how little time you have. Don't tell yourself you have a wife and kids and so many things that take your time you can do it.
The bottom line is if you want to do something that enough, you make time to do it. Is that not true? If you really wanted a flat screen television from the store and you knew you had the money for it, you'd probably find some time to go to the store or on the Internet and check it out. It's no different with the piano. If you want to play make time to play.
Don't expect things to always be easy. This is a mistake that even I have made in the past. You soon find out sometimes they'll be hard spots and times that you feel like quitting. This is where many people quit. Just because you feel like quitting sometimes doesn't mean you should.
These are growing pains. For you to make any progress, sometimes you're going to have to go through a little pain. Other times things will be great. Don't be discouraged. I found the times that I fought through the urge to quit, I have become better when I get to the other side of things.
Don't be discouraged by what others say. You may be terrible right now. You may have never played the piano in your life. You made just want to learn the piano. Don't let anybody tell you can't.
You might very well be the worst piano player on earth. That doesn't mean that in the future you will still be the worst piano player. And even if you'd never make any progress at least be tried. You'll never know in less you give it your all.
That's the final key. Give it your all. Not half. Even if you don't have a lot of time, the time you do have, utilize it to the fullest. If you do these things and commit and you really want to learn the piano, you will learn how to play. Good luck! - 18762
